Beginning with an idea, developing it into a design, prototyping samples into an approved finished product, producing the first small manufacturing run and then increasing to large runs. All of this Marlo is equipped to provide.

Research and Development--In 55 years, we have grown to become one of the leaders in the RF sealing industry. Marlo Plastics has acquired knowledge of materials, applications, various industries, and regulations, all vital in product development. From simple pouches to multi-operation high spec items, you are assured of working with capable staff that treats your project as a priority.

Internal Structure--Beginning with our process scheduling system, orders taken are entered into production within 24 hours. Once entered, inventory is appropriated and equipment is scheduled for a smooth and on time process. Our in house service department insures all machinery is 100% operational. Our Quality control department not only monitors all phases of manufacturing, but also trains employees with seminars. Often, customers are invited to partake in this process, that they will add valuable input and take away an appreciation of the work and care taken in making their product.

Production---The production facility is divided into 5 areas: Office, cutting department, sealing department, printing department, and shipping/ receiving. All areas are clean and organized with fast, complete, and accurate transfer of goods between departments. The cutting department has die cutting, sheeting, slitting, and guillotine capabilities. The sealing department consists of 25 various R.F. machines and impulse machinery. Also in this department are the attaching equipment (Eyelet machines, snap machines, grommet machines, rivet machines, etc.) and assembly stations. Printing department consists of hot stamping, silk screening, and gold fill equipment.

Once product is finished, it is sent to shipping for either shipment or finished product inventory. Stocking programs, third party shipping, bar coding, and special instructions are performed in the shipping department.
